The author is really over doing the weak mc card when it's not even necessary. It like watching a TV show where the acting is so bad that it gets on the nerves, don't get me wrong the plot of the webnovel is pretty good and everything it's just when you make the mc seem outright stupid, it doesn't encourage your readers to continue on without annoying them.
