The background of the story is well and good. The character’s are also alright. It’s just that the cultivation system of this world is a bit complex and I didn’t really understand all the power levels and what exactly does one have to do to become stronger. And also what exactly is the use of providence. Like is it luck? Cause the MC is really very unlucky compared to many others I guess. So if you could actually describe all the terms it would have been great. I mean the MC had access to higher level knowledge after going to academy so you could have put a chapter which described all these terms.

This was so anticlimactic. if the protagonist was able to take down at least 9-10 people of the tribe with his wit and then the vine god helps him would have been so much better.

Since the MC was going to be saved anyway, he didn't have to butt in anymore after burning the second year guy. The job was done. He could just write a note anonymously and be done with it

It's an average Chinese cultivation novel of an idiotic MC. What makes it more idiotic is that the author gave him a cheat of a mobile but instead took away most of his brain cells. The mobile has many functions and yet the MC keeps harping about his low talents and doesn't use any of its functions. For eg the mobile has a 'baidu map' equivalent to Google maps which can show the topography as well as the location of cultivators but inspite of that he gets surrounded by demon cultivators (in ch 73) So in the end he is just a mix of non-brained Chinese MC and a normie submissive japanese MC

Why didn't his mobile inform him? So many plot holes right from the start.
