This is repetitive novel from start to the end, the MC is OP so you will see many of his enemies will be faceslapped and then come back to him with admiration or to be faceslapped again. BUT WHOCARES this is fun, I love this novel even with the repetitive plot it was still fun to read and I greatly enjoyed it. And the greatest thing about this novel is how you will be given a story how to be the real teacher (relatively in this novel world). The bond between MC and his students that never broken from start until the end! It was very touche and that was new for me so I enjoyed it a lot. And sorry this review is what I feeling about this novel and not in general (maybe just the first paragraph).

Good novel!! Even I don't like tragedy but this novel was great to pass :)) From mortal to sword god the process was full of twist, from lucky encounters to deadly encounters, from happy to sad. This novel will make your heart beat and make you have a mixed feeling until the end of the story.

If you want to read something like beast-companions (partners) that always can be evolved to ultimate form with resource and bond with master like a pokemon this is the novel you want. But if you want to read something that have a good romance and bromance I don't recommend it, because the MC is wizard and always training his partner. But it was good novel overal. I just don't like the ending because it was too rushed, many thing still abstract in the end. Maybe the author want open ending (?).

From zero to hero that save his world, good humor and character design. There is connection from start to end of the story about side character and main character. Even now I still remember how side character and main character first met and their funny interaction. As for romance I will give 3.5 star.
