Tbh I can actually understand why the DC heroes don’t kill. I mean I get it, they’re vigilantes who do this outta the kindness of their hearts. They’re not being paid by the government like other law enforcement (as far as I know idk). Some of them don’t want blood on their hands. It sucks that they let the villains get away but at least their trying their best.

I liked the story but the romance was really rushed which kinda ruined it for me. It feels like the author gave a really half assed plot on why the MC was so attracted to Raven. It’s super rushed with little to no explanation. Then it went downhill when the MC tries to get together with Wonder Woman despite being with Raven. If you’re not comfortable with cheating and the large age gap between the MC and WW then this isn’t the novel for you. I also didn’t like how there’s little to no interaction with the team and the MC. Like you put him on the team only for there but be to connection. What I did like tho was how there was the plot twist where Batman was the MC’s father which I thought was cool. I feel like that coulda been explored more rather than both Batman and MC straight up ignoring each other.
