with any goldfinger, there will always be short discrete bursts of growth in MC. Using system to nerf and limit this growth allows story to seem realisitic and logical. Otherwise, with no ceiling, how do you expect a Kage level MC to sit through years of Academy? He can very well **** off to moon and the distant galaxies, and keep jumping worlds. And in twenty chapter become as strong as the systen itself, that the story becomes a power jerkoff cultivation novel, where "MC meets Trash. Trash insults MC. Trash ogles MC's Harem. MC insults Trash. MC beats Trash. New Trash walks in to fight MC. MC beats the new Trash. Spectators are awed and dumbstruck." I loathe these Xinxia tropes and would rather delete my novel than let it become a part of the herd of novels that keep popping up every second on Webnovel, despite being fanfiction in nature.

No he was nowhere as good as you make hin out to be. He ruled Ame with an Iron Fist, and basically allowed Iwa and Konoha to battle in Ame, despite his abilities to stop the war from affecting his country. He was also aligned with Danzo, who many claimed, actually orchestrated the Second Shinobi World War to weaken Iwagakure. He also was treacherousas can be seen how he dealt with Akatsuki and captured Konan and threatened to kill them under the premise of peaceful discussion. And he was feeling threatened by the OG Akatsuki as they wanted to help and meddle in his plans to keep his coffers filled.
