Jake just need to show his worth to the team, that way he can pressure them to let him use wooden bat or risk him not playing for the team

Just like what the other comment said, there would be a lot of position needed to be filled after the seniors graduate. I guess it's safe to say Jake would be the cleanup hitter, his growth spurt might be happening soon, along with Ms. Atkins bulking him up and him building up his body.We're seeing a homerun factory in the making here guys.I think the biggest problem here lies on the pitcher rotation next season, that's some big holes to fill for the new ones

yea, that's fair. West Valley Prep intentionally walked Jake in last season's final when he still hasn't shown his ability to hit a homerun, what now when he's basically a homerun factory.
