I think it would be better with single reincarnation instead of chain of them. Instead of starting from begining start from an major event. Tell the mc background with many small flashbacks to the past. use flashbacks also guide readers to understand how MC came to conclusions in whatever situation he is in. occasionaly. I think this was how this was writen before and for me it worked lot better than this newly written start.

How do Marines know who imprisoned Croc? I dont recall anyone telling their name while reporting it. Dont think marines have power to force rulers of Alabasta to tell anything if they dont want to. Dead men tell no tales. Many questions i cant recall them being answered. If i missed the explanation from previous chapters, I ask your forgivness for my short memory.
