Apparently "Barbiecore" or nicknamed by the chinese netizens as the "Pink Renaisance" started trending in China around 2023, where women started wearing pink to compliment their tan, defying the pale white skin beauty standards. So Mr.Author is referencing a recent chinese trend. I found that cause I was curious about exactly how pink Death Barbie Pink is and ngl its nice, I want a polo shirt in that colour.
Lel how was he being aggressive. He was just concise, like Wei Wufu. Short answer easy solution. Did you want him to write a whole paragraph explaining it? Youre either trolling the guy or youre one of those people presuming peoples moods and emotions and character from too little information. Before you infer my intentions, I was rolling my eyes going "Lol what??" from your comment and now as Im finishing it Im more like ugh its one of those annoying guys. Unless youre trolling him then kudos youre an expert.
The art cant be called art, its the kind you find in that one anime obsessed kids sketchpad in highschool. Better than the average person thats for sure but its just not good enough to make an appealing manhwa on the contrary, every time I look at the hairstyles I want to roll my eyes and delete the entire chapter although that can be attributed to the fact that I personally cant enjoy art thats much worse than solo leveling or its equals. The story is the saving grace here, I quite enjoy the interesting concept although so far its just a cut above mediocre. I think the art is the most important aspect of a manhwa, after all we're here for the art are we not? We all know most of these are based on novels so if not for the art we can simply go read the novel itself as they are almost always better than the manhwas, the only factor making the manhwas potentially more entertaining being the art. And webnovel seems to have a damn talent for trying to mass produce these with bare minimum artists that honestly ruin the experience. To name an example here, the first panel we see Sima Zhongda, what the absolute Yu-Gi-Oh five year olds drawing monstrosity is that hair. And the proportions of Sima Decaos fist in the same chapter? Come on, as greedy as I am for more of a good story it simply cannot be good if the "art" stings my eyes. By far the most decently drawn and shaded character is Ding Ling so far and she barely makes an appearance.
Anyhow nice name, Im boutta go int toplane brb.
Yeah the genetic potential of his "talent" compared to the world was pretty shite if I remember correctly despite being described as "just 3 simulations".
Nah its mid to late twenties. Very varied, and its not the kinda thing that happens like one day you just wake up and feel different its a gradual process. But ik what you mean.
From the world building it seems like they would at most have double or triple his stats. There have been no complicated stats introduced such as armor or damage mitigation which is the main culprit of difficulty in fighting higher leveled opponents. I would say in this novel him fighting higher levels would be like fighting a giant in Elden Ring as a low lvl. Theyre big, and they will pretty much obliterate you in one hit. But theyre very slow and predictable. You can easily just shoot them from afar with a bow and arrows then just dodge a couple times when they reach you and stab their heels. Even if you do 1 damage per hit and they have 300 or more its still not that hard if you just have patience. You might make a mistake a few times and have to start over but eventually you just stop ever making mistakes.
Now thats just anticlimactic and boring. At least I wanted to read a bit of blacksmith grinding but now hes just instantly max lvl.
I mean theres Souls Likes. Some people are just straight up menaces. There was a player that beat Elden Ring maidenless, which basically means he refused to interact with the essential NPC that you level up your character by talking to and completed the game as a level 1. And I guarantee you there wouldnt only be one person thats done this if it wasnt that certain areas are meant to be inaccessible without talking to the maiden, he had to use an exploit to actually enter the area where you fight certain bosses to progress the game but that got patched and isnt possible anymore, in any case that dude beat an RPG notorious for being difficult without leveling his character once. So yeah, fully possible if its a skill based leveling game. Not so possibke if its a game like pokemon or other turn based leveling games.
Nah, Sword is a broad term. Swords generally have two mirrored edges and are meant for stabbing or slicing, while Sabers are generally single edged, and are meant for cutting. Sabers are more reliant on skill and technique, swords just have to be swung straight ot atabbed straight so more power behind the swing or thrust would in fact suit it better. At least thats how the real versions of those weapons work, if we're talking fantasy then sure the fancy sword techniques make sense 🫡
