I don't understand how Kamila can take the moral high ground here and be horrified by what Derek did as a teenager. First of all, when Fallmug was alive, she wanted nothing more than to strangle him with her own hands, but she couldn't because of her situation. Second, Kamila witnessed firsthand all the abuse and torment Derek and Carl went through AS KIDS and somehow is horrified by Derek's feelings. Third, Kamila has physically, mentally, and emotionally tortured criminals who had done probably less egregious things than Ezio. I fail to see how Kamila would even be affected by Ezio's death.

I don't think Lith has any griffon blood. However, he is one of her (Tyris) subjects. In the past, she has said that she doesn't help the kingdom because she wants her citizens to grow and be able to solve problems by themselves.

With the knowledge of science AND magic, he should be able to do something with everyone's help, or he should have been able to do something before using the blade tier spell. 3000+ mages (not including the council) casting anything would have a significant impact to at least shift the storm off course.

I don't understand how ambushes work on awakened. They have superhuman reflexes and speed, they can see warp and blink points before they are finished casting, and they themselves can warp or blink away just as quickly. Was Lith and co. standing so far from allies that none of them could warn him or offer assistance?

I don't know how weather mages can "bring the hot spring air" but couldn't they just make a mass of warm air and send it to the clouds? 1000+ soldiers casting some sort of fire spell or array has got have some kind of effect.
"The plan is to stop the advance of the clouds and buy enough time for the weather mages to bring the hot spring air to them. This way, the storm will trigger away from the city and unleash its fury on Thrud's army.
