Author, I understand the need for a reality check, but there were other ways, I commented on this in a previous chapter. It makes no sense for him to have surrendered; all the trump cards were in Leon's hands. If Koneko died, she could be resurrected. If the pact bound her, the rule breaker could break it. Before she was resurrected, he could easily have killed Loki and Hel first, and then restored her. That's the advantage of the infinite forge; time is on his side. You could easily have slapped him to teach him to stop relying on brute force, forcing a two-pronged attack situation, where he could stop one and lose on the other. The pain of losing someone he loves, even temporarily, could have served the same purpose. The way you did it makes no sense. Think about it: you know you can revive people, you know the rule breaker would be ready in a week, you know Loki doesn't want to die. You have nothing to lose; Loki has everything. He is a god. And a God Cowardly by nature, at that distance, the advantage was yours. If you showed yourself willing to sacrifice, he would probably retreat, and if you didn't, your losses could be minimized because A) you know where the Sephiroth Grail is and are more than strong enough to retrieve it, B) because you have the infinite forge and there are plenty of ways to resurrect the dead, C) as I said, Loki is a cowardly god, he won't risk mutually assured destruction with his soul on the other side. He should know that once he forced you to sacrifice, you would shatter his soul. Leon had prior knowledge of the work; he knew how each one functioned, in general, and as I mentioned more than once, even in case of loss, Leon's losses were manageable. That said, do you still find Leon's choice to surrender minimally reasonable?

Author, with all due respect, what a shitty plan! He can revive the dead, that was stated several chapters ago with his parents. Besides, if the Rule Breaker can break an oath, he can break the ritual afterward, and even if he can't, he can play other routes. Why not kill Loki and keep Koneko safe until a favorable situation arises? And what kind of Kuroka is this? She risks the hatred of the entire underworld, but does nothing to Loki? None of this makes sense. There's the Sephiroth Grail capable of bringing the dead back, there's the celestial forge, there's his spellbook. He could have asked Vali for help before going, with Divine Dividing, the ritual would have been nullified. He did absolutely nothing, besides choosing the most cowardly and flawed path possible. After all, why the hell did he choose the only path that leaves him and everyone he loves vulnerable? If you didn't want him free to act, you could have found another way, but locking him up like this is insane.

And regarding his treatment of potential death, remember, they're pirates. From the moment they decided to set sail, they should be ready to die for their goals. If he's always patting them on the back, keeping them safe from everything, how do they grow? Luffy himself only grows in life-threatening battles, as has been said. If he's always holding their hand and protecting them, how do they mature and evolve?

Not necessarily, to be honest, each of the Straw Hats has their dreams, they are a union of people with their dreams at stake, him having his own does not mean he treats them as pawns, after all Zoro dreams of being the greatest swordsman, Sanji wants the All Blue, Chopper the cure for all diseases, Ussop a brave warrior of the sea, why can't he dream of being the new king of the world? As long as his dream does not hurt the Straw Hats, I honestly don't see why he can't have his dreams and goals, without it involving the crew, after all, let's be honest, Luffy influenced by Nikka, would never agree to take out the Celestial Dragons, to put new ones and he is not a guy who knows how to keep his mouth shut, in my opinion, it is more practical to keep silent.
