I know right
but, that just makes the whole thing more tipsy tervy and makes things more confusing, just keep it simple so it doesn’t become confusing when the MC pulls some BS out of their pants
Should be the North Star anime, I believe
So does that not make him the hero of the novel, if he is the Protagonist? Instead of the antagonist?
I think the easy answer here would be, it’s complicated but it’s not.
i wouldn’t say it’s twisted, I would say it is more nilhilest way of thinking than anything else.
I feel like this is a more simplistic and one of the biggest excuses people would use to justify thier views, I kinda get where your coming from, but I don’t think your necessarily right either. Cause doing the right thing won’t always be the easiest thing to do. Also there are good and bad people, but you gotta remember, everyone is a hypocrite at some point and nobody is perfect. It is what you do or what you learn from your mistakes and what you do after that defines someone. Also I think you might be associating good with being perfect and bad with being imperfect. But those are just my thoughts, I don’t necessarily agree but i don’t fully disagree either.
Nah, only the badly written one can.
to be fair, this has been a main theme in culture lately to make doing bad or evil acts justifiable. Also the world isn’t that black and white and is a sucky grey color.
Well, ya cause doing the right thing is hard sometimes
Ohh, I get it, he’s monologueing
But, ya I get what you mean tho
I mean, you could literally say that about anyone. Even the villains are like this most of the time too. You also gotta remember that ‘Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t always doing what is easiest thing to do.’
I mean you could also say that about the villain as well. Most of the time the villain is just a failed hero that takes on a less than morally right ethos and that is pretty much the only difference. At least that is what has been the trend for a while. A good example would be Lux Luther from superman.
