Hmmm... I'm guessing this is the reason for the Quincy mention in the previous paragraph. You wanted this confirmation moment for him and it doesn't work without it. Seems a bit forced to me but to each their own.

I think it's a bit too early for there to be quincy. You could just call them warriors until he awakens and names them. Or you could go a slightly more canon adherent route of calling them magic hunters before the name change. It's your story though so do what you think is best.

The thousand year blood war is actually the name of the second war. Which was as a result of a thousand years long blood feud from the first war iirc. So you might want to change the wording a bit.
