The story is actually pretty decent after the first few chapters. It falls off a little bit after he gets stronger. Character get built up fast but then they just get left behind unless its part of his harem. Even then like a one or two lines about he found them and had sex. It doesn't really take away from the decent fight scenes. The issue I'm having is that around the early chapter 100s it becomes pretty political about how the world is bullying China and Chinas number one. It feels very forced and severely weakens the story. If you can get past it it might get better it might not, but I am stopping here.
