Based on what I've read in other fics, that is the usual reason why it is said that the universe is on a constant change towards destruction and creation.

Shadow Skill and Gundam Wing tripped me into anime... Haikyuu dragged me into manga... Deathmarch sunk me to the abyss of light/web novels...
While the manga could have been better if it actually progressed, he found himself liking the series. Best description of humanity that I could remember is the one from Hellboy... in which humans have a void in them that they pour everything in to but never gets filled. Having part of the reason going away from humanity for the one I love would definitely be a bonus.

Just guessing but... maybe they can relate to it in some way because in real life, when you're too good at something and don't have the right background... it would just lead on isolation or bullying. Crab mentality is still prominent in some societies.

They all probably went unscripted with this. But their acting was top-notch since they already experienced it from some other projects.
