lol, every novel took something form another, even wotmg took inspiration from it's respective predecessor.
"Spells are useless for the first two ranks of Apprentice. You don't have enough spiritual force to cast even half a spell. Only when you become a Rank 3 Apprentice, can you use Rank 0 spells. However, you will only be able to cast a few spells before your spiritual force runs dry." Detective Watson replied.

Well said, I’v had major gripes particularly with dimensional descent. The power system seems interesting, but the character seem bland and particularly undeveloped.

The leader couldn't even muster any strength to ask her who she was. Everyone was confused and apprehensive seeing such a powerful being who apparently seemed to be angry with them. They had no idea who she was and why she was here.
