I think - case 1: if ren fails to escape, he would disguise as a guard and start from the bottom in the monolith to go out for a mission then escape. case 2: ren would probably run away from the team and try to hide since he doesn't know the union is infiltrating the monolith. case 3: think ren wouldn't want to immediately expose himself after escaping, so he would probably join his team and continue expanding until he catches up on everything. Plus nobody knows that he took monolith drugs so i think nobody would question it.
