I went on an unexpected hiatus, work and life got hectic last month so I didn't write this month, I am going to start updating again starting today probably, so no worries. And thanks for the review!
I have made a discord, but it's barebones right now, I was planning on fully getting it done and adding photos and pics of characters but never got to it. Maybe I will do it, maybe not, I honestly have no idea since the last 3 months have been crazy with work and life in general, I barely had time to even write this month too. We shall see what the next year holds, hopefully more views and popularity and more of my time spent writing and getting some pics created together with the discord.
He is mostly venting here, he is talking to them as if you would a kid you are training, he isn't really concerned whether they can understand him or not. Don't forget, Lyle is an assassin, a straight forward fight like this rarely ever occurred to him in the past, so he is just enjoying it at that moment, pretty much bullying the weaker goblins.
Oh, and there is already some romance in the novel
I wrote it in a manner similar to how you would play D&D with your friends, which would mostly be guys. Later on some girls do join the party, no worries, and no, no gay love story. That was just how I was most comfortable writing the party composition for banter and everything.
I'm wondering about the same thing, the last couple of chaps have been quite bad, seems like they switched to MTL, which is a shame
I don't know whether you mean Reign or Wolf, but the answer does come soon, for Wolf it is chapter 14, for Reign also quite soon.
Best friends, raised together pretty much, so like brothers. Their dads had a dojo, they did train there and fight, but they had also joined a gang at one point.
No need to apologize man, I mean, it's not like you left a bad review, not to mention that I do agree with everything you said. The novel is most of the time light-hearted, it all centers on the group of main characters and finding out more about the world and universe, not to mention about Reign and what is going on with him. I had planned on making it darker to be honest, but this is the first novel I had ever written, and thanks to my lack of experience back then, I did end up writing more 'fillers' than I would like to have right now, and I wasn't sure how to execute some plot points I had. Now, we'll see what happens next as I haven't written even a third of what I had planned for the novel, hopefully I'll get some more views and recognition, but for now, I'll just have to continue writing and getting better and better at it.
Ok I got confused at the end there, what character do you mean? If you mean the ones who went after Miriam, that was only done to set up an ambush. I don't really remember ever writing any other type of villain young master other than that, which was actually a cover for the trap they set up. Other than that, yeah, I do agree with your review, the novel doesn't really have impactful deaths. There are a couple of deaths later on, but even then, yeah, not that impactful. If you do want a darker story, with some more deaths and higher stakes, I do recommend you check out my 2nd novel, I have written that one differently compared to this. Anyway, thanks for the review man, have a good one
