Yeah 10 is average human. 11-12 is above average, 13-14 is Highly intelligent, 15-16 is basically 17-20 is Peak humanity IE Einstein, Newton etc. Anything above 20 is basically divine beings/demigods/mythical monsters etc. Well at least that was how it was before 5e. In dnd beyond (5.5e) its incredibly broader now. 10 is the human average, 11-19 is strong capability, 20 - 29 is extraordinary capability. Leaving everything up to DM 's interpretation
