For some reason, the fanqienovel website isn't loading right now, you will need to manually search for it. Name: 木叶:平静生活的我让系统背刺了 English translation would be: Konoha: I, who lived a peaceful life, was backstabbed by the system By author: Yu玉 English translation would be: Yuyu
Let me know if the raws resume. Or if you want to continue the translation upto the latest hiatus chapter.
No idea, it's likely some reference to some popular Chinese literature. Too little info to make a guess.
There's an awakening at chapter 54, but that's Kagami. I only remember Naori awakening hers when she's controlled by Rain to kill Torifu (I re-checked). If there's mistake in the fanfic somewhere, I will probably attempt to fix it when i re-read this book after finishing the translation (I stopped reading it around chapter '600?' a long while ago, only skim reading it for fixing name and stuff mistakes afterwards).
Madara is alive, but left already. Nobody followed him out. There's no rebel behavior yet i think because 1st and 2nd are alive and they aren't pinning for village leadership position yet. This elder is just triggered because his descendants are dying and he wants to seek 'justice' (Not counting the fact that they "courted death" lol). Most of the fanfictions lore make the Uchiha arrogant and prideful guys. And if they're from the opposing faction, author always flings shit at their character and gives them young master syndrome.
it's more along the lines of "The Girls" lol.
The translation quality of this work is good, especially when compared to the average fanfiction translation out there, making it very readable. Unfortunately, the story development itself is complete trash. The original author has an exhausting obsession with hyping up every single fight as an epic, final battle, and kill the enemy, only for the villain to immediately come back stronger in the next moment the protagonists look away, often bringing a dozen other canonical villains along for the ride. The author completely milks this undying villain concept, even relying on gore like scattered pieces of meat still clinging to life and severed eyeballs that are somehow still watching the scene. The way these conflicts are resolved is just as frustrating and completely breaks all sense. The villains will receive endless, unearned power-ups, only for the protagonist's team to suddenly gain a single-stage power-up out of nowhere that perfectly fixes everything. Other times, the protagonist's father will just pull a random, unexplained solution out of his ass to wipe everyone out. The protagonist Trunks is a Transmigrator, his "super power" is that his father can hear his thoughts (Author had a thing for Vegeta and some fetish for the "thoughts hearing genre gimmicks"), his sister is a reincarnator from AU timeline. I forced 105 chapters to see if anything gets better, it didn't. Repeatable undying, kill 4 times for it to die. If you're here to read it for Trunks, don't bother. It's not the decisive killer Trunks. It's plot botched undying villains, never check if dead thing. Ultimately, if you have a lot of free time and are desperately craving a Dragon Ball fanfic, you can give it a read for the translation alone, just make sure to turn your brain completely off and don't expect a cohesive plot.
ah, don't tell me now they will magically find the evil dragon balls there and resurrect themselves.... 🙄
