leylinn2mthCommentedI can't understand how someone with superintelligence could just idle around and let their parents grow old and die while they continue to live on hundreds of years if not immortal. I'm not saying you have to put aside everything and only focus on making them immortal, but just by taking it step by step with first learning basic knowledge. it'll happen eventually. Also, you can at least ask their opinion. not like they're going to be immortal and alone enduring endless loneliness by themselves. they have a family.
I'm confident I could go to college and take the same test Mom took to get her doctorate in bioengineering; hell, I'm confident I know more about bioengineering than Mom does at this point, though I wouldn't ever say so or try to prove I'm better. Was confusing at first. One minute they're 5-6 years old and it's their first day of kindergarten then they're suddenly twelve.
