Alright now I can confirm, the author stole this entire arc directly from Miles Cameron's novel "The Red Knight". Even the dialogue is almost verbatim, with only changes to match Qi and The Heavens instead of the terms used in the books. Wow.

This one convinced me to leave my first review ever. Been on Webnovel for years and years, and this feels like a combination of some of my all time favorites. If you enjoyed the organization management portions of History's Number One Founder, this is for you. If you liked having to front as an all powerful being and develop others the way things were done in Lord of the Mysteries, then this is also a great one for you. The MC has realistic motivations and responses to events, he's rational but isn't a robot, and it takes advantage of tropes you'll love if you've read a bunch of other system based novels. Dropped every Golden Ticket and Power Stone I had saved up on this. Try it out all, it's well worth it.
