I called it on reddit! The strings of fate are also the strings of karma. once all are severed he is forgotten by all.

I can get behind this. There's a few tropes where understanding an element helps increase its potency with magic. A few isekai books where the MC can learn many magics effortlessly because they understand the underlying principles. Also one of the top novels here awhile ago "Mages are too OP" had the MC convert spells into magical mathematical formula to be more potent.

No wonder there is a saying: All magic can be reduced to mathematics, physics, and chemistry - using mathematics, physics, and chemistry knowledge to analyze the principles of magic.

Depends on the gun, could need to be rifled, the hammer pulled back, safety off etc, also unlike grabbing an arrow and pulling back reloading can also be a tedious challenge that will need a bit of finger dexterity low level undead may not have.

It makes sense that skeleton warriors who have no mind would not be able to use firearms, and it's already not bad that they can pull bows and swing hammers.

I thought memories and echoes typically vanished after the owners died. Aside from a few special ones that is. So it's reasonable that Jet is still alive

Both of them were still alive. They had to be.

I don't think he'd be able to do that. the limitation is the threads of the weave. they're not strong enough. it's why he had to reinforce the crown of dawn and that only worked because the crown was strengthening it's own threads.

"The case of the Crown of Dawn is unique, because it possesses an enchantment that enhances itself. That is why I was able to outfit it with a Supreme soul shard and elevate its power by two whole Ranks. For other Memories… I doubt that they'll endure such a significant alteration. Elevating them by one Rank, though? That should be possible for some, I think, if time-consuming."

Probably only allows a boost as strong as its rank would allow.

And the first Memory the Dawn Shard empowered was itself. Its weave was always augmented by its own effect… perhaps that was the reason why this Ascended Memory could possess such an unreasonable power.

not only that but he could make a thin shadow dome around them

Steeling his heart, Sunny tried to ignore the appalling sensation and concentrated on his task — scooping up the water that had been thrown into the ketch by the storm and tossing it overboard. There was a lot of it, but he and Nephis could still keep up. It was just that… this simple task had turned out to be much more demanding than he expected.

NGL I think the mad prince is Mordet, I think he's already called as such by his family.Undying should be sunny because he's literally cheated death twice by now, three times if you count snake fight.Soul devourer should be jet because she needs souls to remain alive.

"The Six Plagues are not the most powerful of the Defiled, and neither are they the most ancient. However, they are the most feared and loathsome. Mad Prince, Soul Stealer, Undying Slaughter, Torment, Devouring Beast, and the most harrowing of them all... the Dread Lord. Everyone on the Great River has heard their names. They are also called the Heralds of the Estuary, sometimes."

So I can see some of your points, but we're still missing some 2 of the daemons aren't we? we have 1. weaver 2. nether 3. hope 4. unnamed oblivion 5. Ariel. so we know weaver is the demon of fate, nether was prince of the underworld but was heavily involved with creation, hope is hope, unnamed is oblivion, ariel is demon of dread/keeper of truths. I think hope is either the war God or sun gods flaw. more towards war God cuz their the God of humanity. war and hope go hand in hand in my opinion. that said I think nether is the flaw of the sun God, the sun God is the God of creation, also nether was able to harness the sun gods flames to use as a power source for his tower.so while I strongly believe weaver goes with the shadow God, they could go with the mystery God as for Ariel he is my second for shadow god, but I think that a daemon who could control his own memory would be the flaw of the heart God, the one who could influence memories.as for the daemon of oblivion, wouldn't it make more sense that the God who's forgotten, their original flaw would be to forgotten like the daemon of oblivion? also, there was conflict with the war God and shadow God, the war God even destroyed the shadow gods temples. why would the war God do such a thing to an ally? I think the shadow God likely didn't participate in the great war.

It seemed like… he had finally encountered something that existed outside the purview of the Nightmare Spell. Which was why the Spell was struggling to integrate the Shadow Realm Fragment into its generally all-encompassing system.

Do you mind if I ask why you think so? For me it seems like a lot of what's said about the shadow God plays along with lines of fate as well, with the shadow domain encompassing death, time, and space. also weaver is known as the daemon of lies but.. one of his abilities is to flip flaws. sunnys flaw from being in the shadow lineage is to never tell lies, with his flaw flipped he can only tell lies. Shadow was also the God that mostly went unnoticed, weaver also likes not getting in the middle of things. just seems to line up well. considering how for humanity daemon hope was like the sun God was.

It seemed like… he had finally encountered something that existed outside the purview of the Nightmare Spell. Which was why the Spell was struggling to integrate the Shadow Realm Fragment into its generally all-encompassing system.

The sum of all natural numbers from 1 to 100 is 5,050. That twice is 11,000. Assuming he gets 1 point in proficiency in the body technique per round done that's an additional 100 att points for the beginner level. then another 400 or so hundred for his progress in the current levels. the numbers are obscene but the math is on point

Bet it has something to do with the founder of the dark faction. perhaps they were the last clan absolutely loyal to the founder and was eliminated to keep troubles away.

'Pink is quite talented as well,' Gunther thought. 'I can tell why he's holding back though; if he's from the Noctis Clan and it was to get out, it would cause an even bigger panic than what's happened so far, and we've had enough surprises for today.'

Yknow I wonder how they're taking it off. are they taking it off and setting it down and stepping away? otherwise is it possible for the shape-shifter to control where the mass and shape go so fluidly?
