Naruto: The Butterfly Effect

Walking through the streets, without looking both ways, is usually when Truck-kun sends a new soul to a different world... And when too much has already changed, who knows what would happen next? Can one soul rewrite the destiny of so many others, or will the butterfly effect turn his good intentions into a new kind of catastrophe? Hey-ho, Dear Readers! If you want to know a little more before heading into it, I thought to pop in and give you some bullet points about what to expect from this story. - OC lead to give myself more freedom, instead of taking over an existing character. - Slow progression, from childhood to adulthood. - No OP MC, but strong enough to keep the pace with the likes of Minato. - As mentioned, the MC will be growing up alongside that generation. I am aiming to recreate a Team 7-style early time, with the MC, Minato & Kushina, under Jiraiya's lead. Now, I know, for those who read the Minato one-shot, won't like it, or who knows... For me, that story had multiple great points, yes, but it also has issues when slotting it into the original timeline. Anyway, long story short, I am going to ignore that, use the original timeline as a base, and lift over those parts that worked as a whole. - I'll do my best to stick to the base lore, but I will bend it where it serves the story. Especially as things get changed and we deviate more and more from supposed events. - Lastly, I will try to keep closer to the original lore, not the Shippuden one, in terms of power creep. Sharingan use got out of hand, and although the MC is of the Uchiha clan, I want to keep it reasonable and bring back the Sharingan from the OG Naruto. That is all, really. As for romance, it may happen, but no, the MC is not going to steal Kushina, don't even think about it. His goal will be simple: to prevent the incoming tragedies to the best of his efforts, and if and when Naruto is born, he will have his parents. Expect 2 or 3 chapters per week.

After The Fallout

25 years after the Great War, Colorado has changed a lot from what it was. Those who survived until now did so under such conditions that they were changed forever. And not all survivors kept their sanity intact... Be it animal or human. However, life is hard to extinguish, even in atomic fire, especially when there are pockets, deep underground, built to preserve them. Vaults that may finally start opening, too. As for what they bring back to the surface, or what the surface may bring back down to them, is yet to be seen. But it may not be nice... Not only for what they may hide, but for how those stuck above would react to them. One thing is sure... War... War never changes. ---- Hey-ho, Dear Readers! First things first, this story will take place in the Fallout universe; however, in terms of date, it predates most games, as it truly starts 25 years after the Great War. I will try not to link any of the games to this story; that is why I decided to place it this early. As for a little list, here is what to expect: - Omniscient narration - The first two chapters are the prologue, from a first-person POV. - Release schedule should be 2 chapters per week. (Tuesday/Thursday, but this is subject to change.) - No LitRPG stuff, so no stats or SPECIAL; I am implementing the "game-like" stuff differently because this is a book, not a game. - Slow progression. I am not hurrying the story along. The main plot will center around reviving civilization as best as one could in this world. I think that's all; if something comes up, I'll add it to the list. For a bit of background information and what to expect, you must know a few things about me: My first introduction to Star Wars was on VHS, so I am not a newcomer to the setting. I was a child when there was only the trilogy and a teen when the prequels happened. I grew up reading the Expanded Universe and with the stories and exploits of Luke. This story of mine will take place in 50 ABY, right after the Expanded Universe mostly stopped producing stories. Writing it, anything that happened after the Disney acquisition is going to be ignored. This even includes the Mandalorian series because no matter how good the first season was, it was built on a foundation made out of sand. Proof: Book of Boba Fett and the third season. I'd like to welcome you to my first foray into writing fanfic and into doing a book from a first-person point of View. Or any of the Dumbledore supporting cast. (at least for a good portion of the story). For obvious reasons. If this is not what you want, please understand that I am going for a familiar yet different story than the original. I am taking inspiration from the original plot, but I am not planning mirroring it 1:1. - Of the returning characters, some may have altered personalities, although I will try my best to remain true to their book counterpart. But I will also think up "what would they have done" scenarios and modify their personality to match the alternative world we are in. I hope you will still enjoy it; that is my goal. To entertain you. - There is no transmigration, no isekai tropes, no reincarnation, no knowledge of in-lore events, none of that. The main character is someone who is born in-universe.
