The vampires could have gone into eternal slumber, I imagine that 1000 years is a long time for anyone. There is Erins problem as well, she could have rampaged and killed many of them.

The beginning of the story is interesting, but after he leaves the first planet(I don't remember the chapter) the story becomes a repetition of the same plot: the MC goes somewhere provokes some trouble, becomes strong and impresses everyone. The romantic partner loses all her personality after getting together with the MC.
