I really liked this novel. It had all the qualities of becoming one of the best novel in WebNovel. However, now every chapter feels like drag. The story is going nowhere. The author clearly chose quantity over pace. Lots of filler chapters. So I give up. I have limited time and can only enjoy a few novels everyday. I was hoping the pacing would pick up after the MC became a mage but guess what he hasn't. The author keeps giving him upgrades but no promotion to mage in sight. When it looks like he is ready to become a mage, another filler storyline starts. So I am dropping this. But if you like slow burning novels this is for you. Byeeee.

Excellent novel. This is the best novel in WebNovel. I read only this novel in WN after Reverend Insanity went on hiatus.

Overall the novel is exceptional . The pacing and world building is awesome but it seems like the author wants to milk this novel for another decade. We are 1300+ chapters in and the MC is not even a fully fledged mage . The author seems to invent ways to obstruct the MC power up which makes no sense given how talented he is . This is a major turn off . I only check this novel out every 3-4 months when there are bulk chapters available . I don't check this novel everyday like other novels on my reading list due to the reason stated above . This explains why the novel is not no.1 .

yes it does. But it could have been done in 1 chapter. Thanks for replying, most authors don't bother to reply. Shows that you care about your readers opinions.

It seems that weekly chapters is down to down to 2 chapter per week. I can understand that the author might have other commitments. But if the chapter releases slow downs you need to increase the pace of the story. You cannot write to chapters with conversation with the manager and a player. That's just filler chapters which would have been fine if you released 2 chapters daily not 2 chapters per week. Disappointed and will drop it it continues like this.
