not usually but I know a method that woks you take a seed of a flower that blooms white petals then take black food coloring and add it to the water when ever you water it and over the time it takes to sprout and eventually bloom the flower will have absorbed the black food coloring turning the petals black from there normal white color if you do this with a white rose seed then you will instead end up with a black rose
