There are so many, but perhaps start with some of these: Terry Goodkind - Sword of Truth series Kal Kade - King’s Dark Tiding series Of course the Game of Thrones series. Even Harry Potter - I know it’s childish a bit, but very funny and JKR has one of the best writing style I can think of. I’m recommending these series not just because of the story but also just to illustrate what I mean by the difference in the quality of writing. How descriptive they are by describing colours, smells, sounds, and tastes so well. Including the scenery, the world, the characters, their way of thinking and emotions. They are proper 3D characters, relatable and with real psychology behind it. This kind (or style perhaps) you can’t get in webnovel, ww, etc. Even though I find these novels therefore a bit lacking, I’m still reading martial/fantasy/scifi novels from the east and I’m a loyal fan. ;)
Sorry, I’m still 250 chapters away from the end. I enjoyed the story at this point very much. Unfortunately, I’m not sure when I’m going to finish it, because I noticed I tend to have a habit of not reading the end of the novels. It’s not necessarily because the interest is lost, I think it’s probably more to do with not wanting to let them go. So, I’m sorry I know this has not been very helpful.
I am not a grammar freak, but I can't handle MLN though, it ruins it for me completely. I am reading fantasy for pleasure, it is necessary that the story takes me in visually to that world so that I forget even that I am reading and the world is not the world I am physically in. Obviously, the patchwork of putting together the text piece by piece just cannot do that. If it was another type of text where I just want to get the gist of it, that could work. I recommend you should read some novels from some of the famous English/American authors with excellent writing skills and you shall notice the difference I mean. In that regard, even some of the excellent work of translations can't compare on these sites, simply because of the written quality of the original work.
