Battle through the heavens protag. Was a genius due to previous life memories , but due to some artifact/situation loses all their cultivation and is then considered trash. Usually followed up by some engagement breaking up since the fiancé doesn’t want to marry trash.
And this is why mercury is the closest planet to every other planet in the solar system most of the time.
No no, he would have slapped someone’s face. And then they break through soul formation because he infused Qi into his slaps. Then they kowtow to him and beg him to become their master.
Seems more like ”if you rely on the drug. Even if you’re not talented enough you can make it.” “If you don’t take the drug, you need to be at least 2x as talented in order to make it through or else you die.” And since they were already 2x as talented before, they’ll be 2x as talented after.
Don’t worry, he might get the ultimate scholar system and start upgrading his genes with the power of fishing after failing the exam And then become author with vivid imagination describing all these weird creatures.
The two comments prior illustrate the duality of man.
Although that experiment did happen and those were the results, apparently the professor acted as a head guard, so it’s argued that the participants tried their best to perform, one quoted saying “I wanted to see how far I could before I was told to stop” Since participation was voluntary, it might be selection bias towards individuals who would play their “role” And only around 1/3 of the guards actually engaged in such behavior.
So he’s gonna kill one of his clones and get his own bounty right?
There goes any insurance money the family would have gotten. But cancer is indeed expensive, though don’t know how healthcare works in China.
A reminder that carrots are not actually good for rabbits. it’s too much sugar for them. The leaves of the carrot are actually better than the actual carrot. The only reason people think rabbits eat carrots is because of Bugs Bunny, and he was only doing it as a reference.
Agility isn’t speed, it’s the ability to quickly change directions. So probably even if he’s doing the motions slowly, the martial artists see that he’s shifting between motions stably and not just wildly swinging. Or the author just forgot.
I think he’s trying to say that she’s probably have trouble connecting with the “real world”. She’s probably spent more years with her fake parents and masters than with her real ones at this point, so it’s possible she’ll start thinking of them less as family. Although it seems before the sim she didn’t hold that much affection anyways.
This man’s never heard the name of Rudeus the Quagmire huh.
Maybe they used to be low class, and their superior talent pulled them up into being middle class. It seems like the way it’s explained so far, talent let’s you more efficiently use resources. If you don’t have resources to use, then it wouldn’t matter what kind of talent you have.
Hey question, why doesn’t this man just cook for her? He’s gifting her food. Which will give him hundredfold times return probably giving him a godly dish to eat for himself.
I never understood why Yin energy is both evil, and women.
Maybe this man should use extraction on his brain. Though that’s kinda a 50/50 chance because the essence of his brain might just be idiocracy instead of intellect.
I thought I could easily turn my brain off with this novel and just enjoy some insane power leveling for a while as the main character just wrecks all his enemies. First off, there’s a bunch of translation issues Turns out, I couldn’t even do that because 1. There’s a bunch of translation issues, especially regarding the terminology of realms and such. You’ve got the Houtian stage martial artists. Which go from 1-10. Then grandmasters, then divine grandmasters, but the novel half the time refers to them as divine sects. Also, from context, it feels like any mention of the Nine Provinces means China, Han state is Korea, and another one is Japan. Earlier on in translation, they might have mentioned demigod sect, and it’s never mentioned again, so I assume they changed the term midway. It’s not as bad as another novel which used two different pronouns literally a single person speaking. But it is still distracting. The major turnoff was the constant nationalism. I thought it’d be alright since it’s not like foreign issues would be brought up too often if he’s just staying in a library all day. But somehow he’s constantly destroying American property, trash talking western food. An paraphrased quote from the novel: “I hated you because you were from Han, but now that I know that you’re 7/8th from the Nine provinces, I guess I can be your fan.” Also the strongest person from Han. “The Kimchi in the Nine Provinces is better.” because somehow kimchi originating from China makes it automatically superior. Accidentally causing some collateral damage to Americans, initially wanting to help them, seeing they’re American and deciding not to help them. Somehow, this author manages to bring up his nationalism in every single chapte, even if not a single foreigner shows up that day. Literally someone offers him to go to a fancy western resturant, and the MC trash talked it saying it’s bland and uninteresting, and even snack food is better. And the person who offers agrees with him. It costs you literally nothing to say that. Does this author even function if he can’t trash talking a foreign country every 5 minutes?
