wait, so is he still going to have to deal with all protagonists now? That was supposed to be the condition for being able to acquire both abilities but now he's just picking the villain ability
I really hope there are some major consequences against Ren for the way he's acting. I'm not looking for a goody two shoes MC but I dislike the way Ren just treats everyone around him. He doesn't explain anything and just makes people do things, things that in the moment make no sense or seem potentially dangerous. And the only reason he doesn't explain is because he himself admits that it's fun or he likes teasing the others. He has progressively been getting way too cocky and arrogant considering that he's still pretty weak in comparison to some of the bigger enemies.
His goal is forgemastery but healing gives him connections. So he'll be focusing on healing while have forgemastery as a secondary job
is he implying the imperfection was done on purpose? but didn't the system say the flaw occured because if the architects perfectionist tendencies?
No, she didn't accuse him unfairly. His actions completely can be taken as him stealing the boss and rewards. For those 3, the game is just a game and so even a death won't matter. Liam is the only one who appears to know the truth and he hasn't tried to explain anything to them.
This is more for new readers but when our MC first learned he could eat monster cores to cultivate, the little girl panicked and told he could explode if he wasn't careful. after that, every time he came across something that contained energy, like a jade stone or the like, he would ask if he could eat it and she would immediately exclaim that he would explode. it was so often to the point that he says something about why do so many things involve explosions lol
In this case, it might be bittersweet because the MC is looking to be too talented. in other words, his talent may bring the dragon sect trouble from other, stronger sects who may want him or they may have difficulty training/teaching him for very long.
It depends on the reason for playing. The others are playing this as a game (although the game itself is really SUS about whether it is just a game), but our MC isn't playing it as a game. He sees it more as a chance to enjoy a second life, one where he isn't crippled. so to him, PK and "psychotic NPC's" are more annoying because he just wants to have fun and those situations are not fun in his mind.
It depends. a lot of wuxia or xianxia novels at some point have some sort of ranking displayed on tablets that has the name of characters that usually get trampled on by the MC. So it's a bit funny that this MC assumes it's a memorial stone instead of a ranking stone
If I remember right, the poison pill was only the mc guessing due to him being distrustful. That's not to say it wasn't a poison pill, but for all we know, she also could have been genuine and gave him a real pill.
To all, the author has mentioned that this is an alternate earth so it can possibly have things or events that exist that wouldn't make sense in real life
The masters sounds like they're referring to their parents. Sound like they're from a very large family
He's like a kid at this point and from what we've seen, especially through his questions of "what is qi" and yadda yadda, he doesn't know any of this kind of stuff that seems like common sense to us now
kids usually know how to read and write by that age. Not well, mind you but the basics are there. and he may have become blind but he still has his mental faculties so he would learn more as he got older. Not to mention this all fantasy and the game is run on high tech, maybe that also enables him to "read"?
It could be the game company didn't fully market it. Plus when you're playing an online game like this, you almost always expect there to be classes or jobs even if it is called "cultivation online". With that knowledge, it's not strange for the players to be confused about the cultivator "class". We don't yet know if there are only cultivators or if there players can behind something else.
I assume so but since this book seems to have a western setting, I'm guessing this was used instead of array, which is more commonly seen in cultivation novels
I remember Eon being fascinated by the fact that Augustus had appeared as well as his last words of "do you have any regrets". more than likely, the dungeon is able to use souls with lingering regrets as it's monsters. Eon may want to take advantage of this to either learn more about others who might be in the dungeon, or he himself become a part of the dungeon. though if the regret thing is true, that might have implications for Ed as well since he might have something he wants to take care of but can't remember yet
So from what I'm understanding, the dungeon and the system are individual existences. The dungeon wishes to protect itself but the system might be more neutral or opposing the dungeon. However the dungeon has its own conscious that periodically observes Ed. We can tell when the dungeon is observing him when his system link skill shows ??? almost as if the system is hiding itself from it. Once the name appears again, the dungeon is no longer paying attention to Ed
