yeah, I was also thinking along the lines. Faith energy could be powerful and while I can't think of any fics that used it to ascend. In highschool dxd the angel used the faith energy for their system I believe. But I also think mc will think of another way to ascend to ultimate.

yea I don't mind the fillers. They are a great way for mc to gain experience without high risks, and a better way than just saying mc had a training montage or a small time skip. They add details to a fic which is very important for an interesting story and most writers seem to struggle with details thus ultimately making the story repeat the same arc structure again and again.

Sorry bro, I thought more about it and you are kinda right but I think it's coz this is such an alternative universe of genshin that most of the 'normal' problems we face in the game like hilichurl, treasure hoarders, abyss and fatui etc are kind of made into a joke. Kinda like a crack fic now that I think about it, and In most crack fics mc doesn't really face any major problems or have any angst.

I like the fic but the original author tends to do a lot of yapping/rambling. Basically going on and on about the same things again and again. it's not as bad since the translator uploads 2 chapters but it does get annoying. (I am not dropping or anything) just wanted to get it off my chest.

btw saw the end note. is there a typo or did you really mean monstat (however you write it) is gonna be 120 chapters long?
