typically the reason for saying names of moves is due to the lack of focus people normally have. the more complicated the movements of the body or energy the more focus is required. So using a name that you've made a mental connection to said movements of body and energy helps with focusing. Which brings us to the long names, for some harsher and complex moves the longer name used helps even more.
