never heard of it. I try to look for stories where mc summons troops in sci fi settings if I can, but those efforts are for outside of webnovel. hard to find in webnovel that aren't crackfics with a bunch of randomness to it, I would like to read a more serious and dark or grim story where the mc can summon troops. I have found a couple, but it feels like the authors to them are running out of ideas or maybe don't have much inspiration anymore.

I've read it, stopped bcz each chapter feels so short. I know this story is extremely similar in deciding to save girls from the college and doing so in a similar way, but the only unique thing from both of them is how they do it. other similar stories I've read dont save people using a helicopter, let alone using 2 or 3. One i read had only 7 summoned soldiers and saved a bunch of people, slowly increasing his forces and could only unlock troops based on the amount of ppl he saved. it was a really good story, but original fic authors don't always write till completion, it went on hiatus before being erased. before some updates to webnovel app, I used to have so many blank stories I bookmarked that showed empty titles and comments to deleted chapters in my feed that I had to remove manually, now webnovel just gets rid of deleted stories I bookmarked for me. so I truly have no idea what they used to be called.

isnt the point that the others didn't know that? from the pov of others, they attacked and might have killed mc, so they have to take accountability. or are you just saying that bcz he is strong, he should forgive everyone? bcz if he was weak, like they thought he was, he'd be dead and the story would end. even if the others are regretful, a dead mc would mean his journey ended. if he wasn't so prudent in getting strong.... Just imagine yourself almost dying to someone. he might be able to come back from it, but mc is putting himself in the shoes of who he is pretending to be, a lvl 2 adventurer who is weaker than aiz and is at most more skillful. ahhh whatver, point is, he is method acting really well and basing his decisions on the pov of the persona he is acting. Good actors will feel the emotions and thoughts of what they are pretending to be, those are the best in live action movies 👌

most I've read like this are not on this site, so I stuck to ones that are. branch out to other sites and you'll find some. Whether they are of quality is suspect, which would be my point in the first place. just because one is coherent and logical which makes it popular, doesn't mean there haven't been others using the same formula. the others just suck, so never got popular.

i thought that he intentionally let it happen, bcz you know, he can control his strength. afterall, he has an ability or something to regenerate and can make his skin hard as steel. besides, I've noticed this author likes to show rather than tell a lot of the times, but I see many comments that take it at face value all the time. like when the mc says he is a 'good guy'. only the people who have read his other works or the people paying attention to mc's actions would understand he is faking it or just mentally justifying it as a meta-inside-joke.

same, though i don't think that applies to this mc for now. I rather see it as wanting to conquer everything, but it'd be kinda lame if the only living people on the planet were just his npcs as he kills the zombies. Instead, as it's a literal apocalypse scenario, it kind of human instict to save civilians (if one has the strength) that gives a certain kind of 'high' to the human brain. We feel good saving people from literally terrifying situations, and its morally right and just and absolutely necessary to repopulate the planet eventually, as so far it's not like mc can control whether the npcs are female or not. anyways, you are right that I assumed, sorry for that. Got any recs for stories that don't have 'savior syndrome'? preferably not crack fics tho.

apocalypse evil shelter, red alert system in anime, another red alert fic I forgot the name of, and a dozens of others that I don't have marked as reading anymore and I dont remember their names. There is one about an ai making strictly sci fi (no magic) troops in a magic world that is pretty realistic and cool, but the author of that dropped it. another fic about a woman using starcraft system in a huge galaxy with multiple empires and summons troops, but author is rewriting that one or prob burnt out on it even though they only made 20 or so chapters... there are a lot of stories that arnt strictly apocalyptic in the zombie verse, but the ones I found that are zombie stuff like to just stay content that the world has zombies in it before the story ends, not bcz it actually ended but because the author stopped writing, whether they world hop or not. I don't keep dropped stories on my reading list, and they eventually delete the stories themselves anyways.

jeez, I can only do English and Spanish with some Japanese that I'm currently learning as I want to take a trip there someday. is German easy to learn? I really wanted to learn it like my sister, but it looked like she was having a hard time with it.
