What's the point of these constitutions if it can be fooled so simply by a contract marriage. Like, why not just fool it even more and have a so called pagan marriage where you basically just go out in the forest and say a few fake promises or something. Since it's magical it should require a magical wedding, imo.

Until you fall in love, which is out of everyone's control, and you end up following fate anyways... Which makes me think of a poem I read once, I can't remember the exact words, but the meaning was basically to go against fate one had to either kill someone, die, or give up the love of their life.

Me too but only when they have the same mindset, opinions, beliefs and attitude of someone from that time. Most of the time the FL being from ancient times is just decoration and they're just like any modern day girl which makes the point of her being ancient completely meaningless.
