My guy, I have never used AI for anything other than spell check, and most of the time I don't even do that. AI might be more common now, but it certainly wasn't as common years ago when I wrote this. Also, this is many chapters ago so I don't know what point in the story you're at, but a lot of the faults are genuinely just due to me being a beginner writer who was figuring things out. If you continue to read, which I hope you do, you will notice that the story telling begins to improve tremendously. Also, Lex does a lot of learning from his own mistakes and faults, which is something I've always had in mind. He can't improve if he appears perfect from the get go
