I get so tired of growing to like a book only to be bludgeoned by the mallet of unnecessary racism.

So many decent books are ruined by racism. I really get tired of starting to enjoy a book only to have it inevitably move towards racist depictions of foreigners; especially black foreigners. truly sad. other than that, the characters are okay. nothing special. like other translated books, there is inconsistency with the names of people, places, and things from chapter to chapter.
