the ranks go from 1 - 9 like cultivation so hes still a qi refiner basically. after 9 he will reset and be a mage lvl 1

The Dark dimension does experience time. Just not in a way Dormamu can't control. He was so used to being the absolute of everything in HIS dimension that when a tiny human comes in and removes that control he freaked out.

Overall it was a decent read. The MC had a solid realationship with his pokemone, was a competent trainer, and had decent battles throughout. The story quickly spiralled during the elemental islands arc. The MC makes poor descisions continuously and then decides to move his gym to another city. After that it just kind of petered off. So decent build up, poor ending.

Hisoka had exchanged ten of these Poochyena for twenty Chansey's eggs. Since his gym was called Dark Gym, he might as well use Dark-type Pokemon as his gym Pokemon. He can't really borrow a Pokemon from Ran every time a challenge comes, right?
