Man...Author could have made Peter such a better character. Why not agree to the second years request so that they dont beat you up, but when you see vorden you tell him their plans so he is prepared and might be able to fight back. This would have given a better, More thoughtful depth to Peter’s character. With this, he wouldnt have gotten beaten up, and would have not been in a situation where he felt guilty for betraying his friends.
Not knowing what to do, Peter ran out of the room, only later to return with everyone else. Then when he saw Quinn, someone who was just as weak as him, stand up to the second years, Peter felt a pain in his heart so strong. He had betrayed them.
