He could also move the power to someone he didn't like or who was genuinely on death's doorstep already and have them use the surgery. If he did that would he have time to transfer the power back to law before they died? Could sort of farm immortality if you spammed that. Give all your best subordinates eternal youth.

tbh the fact that enel gained observation haki despite being surrounded by people who couldn't even touch him is impressive

if you really want to break enels god complex just have him spend some time with this guy. Once he realizes how stupid it sounds he'll probably stop calling himself a god out of embarrassment...
