would have been a great story following the lines of greats like warlock of the magus world, but with a more human touch to the story. however, the above is only true when the translation quality is good. past chapter 300-400 or so, it becomes as bad as mtl, with inconsistent names and disjointed sentences everywhere. A good story with potential for greatness, but handicapped by webnovel use of a shitty TL or using MTL masquerading as human TL

2nd review. great story ruined by a half arsed TL. this is especially evident from chapter 550 onwards. lots of missing content and random cut and copied sections. other than that most sentences are coherent

the beginning 4-5 paragraphs are from the previous chapter! what a crackass translator. maybe I'll translate this myself and learn some French history

and also lots of chapters are cut in multiple sections, which fine but also missing heaps of content. and webnovel doesn't care to fix it

I've checked the raw , this chapter is missing like 4-5 paragraphs. I think the TL is using OpenL or might be deepseek now, for the translations. honestly the translations here are almost carbon copy of the ai translation
