now that I think about it, nightmare gates probably look like oblivion gates from Oblivion at least in my head, that makes them easier to picture for me

Sunny was sitting on the battlement of the defensive wall, looking at the apocalyptic sight of a giant horde of Nightmare Creatures advancing on the city. I'm thinking something along those same lines, I can't wrap my head around the thought completely but this could have so many implications

I wonder if having the serpent in her shadow would make her more susceptible to awakening a shadow aspect or if it was potentially genetic and she will have the lineage of the shadow God too
As it turned out, shadow essence did not react to Luster's presence at all… which was a big disappointment, considering that Sunny had stripped himself of Serpent's support in order to protect Rain. - Jeronimo3mthCommented

okay so this is out of nowhere but... if the wooden knife was destroyed when it's respective immortal was killed... doesn't that mean that the immortal for the obsidian knife and the one mordret might have is still alive? and presumably the obsidian knife is for noctis right?
Noctis gave him a funny look, then cleared his throat and pointed to a chair that had a black kimono hanging on its backrest. The garment was made out of silk, intricately stitched, and fit his towering figure perfectly. From the look of it, they were… however, the monster did not react to having his heart destroyed as a human would. Instead of dying, he simply grabbed the blade of the Shadow Serpent and took a step forward, skewering himself deeper onto it, in an attempt to reach Sunny with the other hand. - Jeronimo3mthCommented
I feel like the daemon are actually just ancient humans that became incredibly powerful, and the gods became fearful of them maybe? maybe over an long period of time humans became weaker and eventually hid on earth to rebuild strength in secret and the weaver create the spell to guide humans back to their roots/power and eventually usurp the gods
Teacher Julius had described daemons as terrible beings that inspired fear because of their unknown origins and strange powers. What happened after one of them had accomplished something that was supposed to be in the purview of only the gods? Saint's description, back when she was an Echo, said that she and her kin were designed to bring peace, but were born into an endless war instead... - Jeronimo3mthCommented

The image of an infernal wraith clad in black onyx armor defeating a charming, noble human warrior with one swift and ruthless strike was, indeed, very cinematic… just how Leo had predicted. For some reason, Sunny felt that it was the latter option. He had received the drop of ichor from a being called Weaver, and then became able to see the strings that were weaved through the Memories, giving them their unique qualities. It wasn't hard to see the connection. - Jeronimo3mthCommented
