Didn't he say the regent doesn't have authority to make decisions over the granaries? Poor communication or no, he's still overstepping his authority and using the property of allied nations (Germany and AH) without authorization. That's bad no matter how you spin it.
Nah. More likely it's because it's easier to get funding during wartime. Also it depends on what type of regime you serve, plenty of talented creative people got send to die in the trenches during ww1. Certain sciences got deemed Jewish and banned during German Third Reich, etc, etc
Wasn't he supposed to be an outcast ?
That's the most un-asian thing I have ever read
The thing is when he was betting on the Pound then he showed he was 100 percent confident to his Dad when the market was full of uncertainty, going all in with his assets. He did this several times so far giving off the impression of who dares wins. Now his dad is doing what he thinks is the same, the MC even agree that the opportunity to get that land is a rare one. But now instead of agreeing with the bold move he's trying to tell his dad to be restraint when he hasnt listen to his dad's call for restraint so far so he's just coming off as hypocritical. The only thing that's really making this land grab a bad idea is the IMF crisis that only the MC knows, but then when he explain it he can't give out guarantee like when he did his other investment, why? He just has to say he's 100 percent sure a crisis is coming. He has already given plausible reasons, just give a bit more and tell him a big bomb is gonna drop soon. Why pussyfoot around and skirt the issue? Acting like he has just make him look hypocritical
