I put a decent chunk of time thinking about his actual response to those things, but, well, he isn't exactly sane, well-adjusted, or even all that normal. But then again, you are entitled to your opinion.

To put it simply, this art I used as the prototype for his younger self looks. But, in all those chapter I wrote, there was not a single moment where it would've been in character for him, as everything is being told through the MC's perspective, to all of a sudden stop and start thinking "this is how I look".
