You think seriously , they are human or something ? Only planets with technology surpassing the norm, or humans with advanced capabilities, could achieve what you describe. Saiyans are primitive beings, lacking intelligence, and have never been able to develop any technological advancements without assistance from other species. They certainly couldn't have ventured beyond their planet. Given their power in the past, if they were capable of such feats, the galaxy would have faced monumental catastrophes.

I'd say it has more to do with the fact that he's moved beyond this notion of right and wrong. He knows what he's doing, knows intrinsically who he is and what his aspirations are. He has also chosen his own style for solving his problems. The question of cruelty or goodness is no longer relevant, because it's now all about his personality. He's no longer an MC, or a hero for that matter; he's long past all that, it seems. He's more like the main character in a cultivation novel. Diana asks questions because she's influenced by her intrinsic goodness. She doesn't do things on her own initiative, but simply because her goodness guides her. She's really at the stage of an MC or a hero, but she certainly hasn't gone beyond that, which calls into question the fact that she's lived for hundreds of years, because otherwise she'd have gone beyond that too.
