what you have to remember is that even though he doesn't realize it he is pushing everyone away because he knows they will not live as long as he will. he unconsciously rejected love with normal people, because he didn't think he could get himself to love them, especially with how his wife died ahead of him. so, hela goddess of death is the perfect person for him. besides the most he could see in black widow is a little sister. all she really cared about before was the chance to be a mother that was taken from her. besides I dont think, they would be good together. he considered her the same as the other kids he'd helped. for hela, he knows she would be strong enough to stay by his side, that's why he wasn't as guarded as with others.
