I usually don't respond to comments since I like the idea of people creating their own speculation and creating unique theories about stories, but since you asked for an answer about facts, I will chime in. In chapter 1, John was described as being in his mid-twenties when he opened his cafe, and then having to close it in just under 10 years, so he is in his early/mid-thirties before his journey begins. As for John's physical description, well, lets just say that it will be a major plot question that will be answered as the story progresses. I have my plan for it, and whether you and audience thinks it is a cool plot device, or a terrible one, I leave up to you all to decide as it occurs. Thank you again for your interest in my story!
