It was not really to boost her but to do 3/4 other things. But I understand the dislike too. "Oh. I have waited for centuries to find my successor but because you look like my wife/daughter/disciple, I will give you this other equally powerful technique I created in 3 years that matches the one it took me thousands of years to perfect." The first is to take away the reality infinity stone/gem/shard whatever you wanna call it. That would have made him too powerful if he learned to use that. I like him OP but not to the point where he can manipulate reality however he pleases. Already don't like him having a normal reality marble but needed him to have it so she could get it and lead to another part of the story later. The second is because I need to get rid of her. Not in a permanent sense but because I did not realize how powerful she is. Even as a Servant before her upgrade, she still can take on all 9 other Servants with her skills. People forget that she should really be in the top 3 Servants after the Grand Servants. I need a reason to have her to do other stuff and be away from the MC so she can't solve everything. She will be off doing other stuff to help the MC and will be available but she was already too powerful to come out. That is why her and Archer have been mentioned the least. Archer can still be matched by some beings but Q was just too powerful for Thor-class but too weak Odin-class Also wanna show her as more of a goddess and less of a big sister. She is known for being kind but she also was fully responsible for killing the earth once and partially responsible twice. I wanna show that part of her. And she also wants her revenge as well. So she will use Jason as her champion. Know it sounds bad but... some Servants are just like that lol Last is that she will be the reason that cosmic level entities won't try to take Jason away or kill him. He is going to be manipulating Authorities and that will get attention. A mortal can't run around with god powers and not be affiliated with any god. Any character with divine power is either a god or related to a god, physically or contractually. So want to use her as a defense from him being recruited or killed.
