Due to its brilliantly calculated timing on its wind waves, Escura lost her balance multiple times, and the tree had already hit her once with a branch. The branch hit her chest and smashed her backward. Escura had trouble breathing, and her chest hurt immensely.

"Jaimy! Come out!" Gravis shouted again as he tore down another building. Gorn could only watch helplessly and in sorrow as his whole guild was torn down. He had been the Guild Master for about 40 years, and it hurt him when he saw everything he had built get destroyed. Gorn clenched his fists and only continued watching. Such a meat head. Didn't he say even before the bone tempering that he could run for 3 hours straight, take an hour rest and continue like that for 28 hours?
Like this, Gravis spent the next two days reading until he finally memorized the whole thing. As he put the Lightning Codex down, he yawned. All this learning had exhausted him. Apparently, one would need to start by getting struck by weaker lightning and creating a Lightning Seed. After the Lightning Seed had been created, the person would increase the intensity of lightning until their body couldn't take much more. - Godborn2yrCommented
even with out large bodies of water every where a water manipulator might be able to drain/push all the water out of your body and blood with physical attacks. Hell, they could walk through a furtile forest and drain all the moisture from the trees and plants then use it to attack.

Greed doesn't mean killing. for all he knew, with that much of a magic reaction they might have rather found a way to steal his magical potential so no killing aura would be present
Gravis felt bad. Obviously, the Guild Masters did not intend him any harm, but he had attacked one with the intent to kill. Yet, Gravis still felt like he would do it again since he couldn't entrust his life to others. About a week ago, a fire broke out in one of our storage rooms and ruined all the natural bone tempering treasures. The other treasures were fine, luckily. No one knew how the fire started, but when we noticed, it was already too late. On top of that, we normally get like three of those treasures per week, but for some reason, we have not received any since the fire. This is really some bad luck."
