This was his casual clothing that he wore while exercising and doing chores outside the Café, so as to keep those white clothes in pristine condition, or at least as white and new-looking as possible. His pants were also brown but did not go all the way down to his feet, ending someone between his heel and knee to prevent mud from ruining them. Finally, he had a make-shift hat on that would block the sun of the late morning which could get pretty strong despite the weather being just as cool as before.- Zarracki19hCommented

With Quirrell not as a teacher, there shouldn't be the troll room, and if Allen didn't make a trap room, the following room should have been Snape's logic puzzle. Those "traps" correspond to the classes they had in the first year. which is why none of the other professors got involved.

I missed the expense portion of your original comment. Am I forgetting Malfoy money no longer existing since Malfoy Sr. is in prison? Because he was one of the wealthiest men in magical Britain, and the goblins wouldn't have given his money up to anyone not named Malfoy worth the proper blood ties.

Honestly, it's never once made clear if there are, in fact, other schools in the area or not, and the language used would suggest that there are others IN Britain. Just to point out, Beaubaxtons in France is not that far from Britain.

Not actually true. Hogwarts is described as the best school in Britain, not the only one.

That's about what I was getting at. There was mention of trash spirits where even with spiritual power, they were worthless, and his blue spirit grass was dubbed a useless spirit.
