This is my take on it (and I surely may misremember from over 2000ch 😝): One part I believe is that Tista, while idolizing her Brother, never really knew Lith. He always put on a mask around his family (until the mask thawed) and she knew him as a loving Older Brother - but around the time Lith began to change and open up Tista got to know the cold and cynical Lith that contrasted with her hero and living Brother, and attributes the difference between those opposing views on his transformation to a beast – because surely her hero couldn't be like that on his own... (classical human denial)
The thing is, Lith may be powerful but far from omnipotent. Power always breed envy and he will sooner or later step on someone's toes (he has quite a few enemies already..😉) He also, for the foreseeable future still has VERY mortal parents, siblings and wife by the standard of the awakened /magic community — All whose happiness he cannot ensure by power alone (power also breeds loneliness/isolation) and their happiness is both more important than his own material gain and he still wants to redeem himself. -- Asking for too much may also backfire in the future. If the content of the deal is made public the Verhens could once again be ostracized for the unfair privileges it contains — A situation where the Royals could steer public opinion from the shadows against Lith, for then to step in as a saving grace to get some form of leash however temporary

Because it is still pouring rain and half a storm and Riftan is afraid of her getting sick
it's not only Liths first but also Legions ^^
I believe the one he needs to forgive is himself. He blames himself for what happened to Karl. Perhaps also Yurial and now his family. Even the fact that Solus is bound and incapable of having a life of her own is a recurring trope
Yes, it was however explained that the last tribulation was special - and the details only privy to Guardians.
Sovieshu is going through the stages of grief; (1) before Naviers wedding he was in denial. (2) Then anger (mostly directed at Heinley) during the wedding ceremony and the days following. (3/4) He is now I believe between the stages of bargaining — justified by the divorce+ and his relationship with Rashta being only ever about the child— and this obvious display of depression / pain. (5) Time will tell if he ever reaches acceptance..

What is she, 4 years old??

Walking downhill is perhaps more tiring and arduous than upward. When walking downhill the joints and muscles have to work as suspension while holding the body back. Albeit not as tiring from a total energy perspective as uphill , it strains specific muscles and pressure points far more — Especially for a novice that have yet to master a technique that lessen said strain.
Because of second hand experience. He has been surrounded by men which boasts about their experiences and "conquests : impossible not to learn SOMETHING from them. However the basic of the basic - like Maxi needed to be 'prepared' before penetration - eluded him and she at least had a quite unpleasant first experience..
He did. he examined all the nobles that were "captured" during the rebellion as a diagnostician.
