I could accept that. It would make sense if 18 knew the “wish attack” was coming, she could theoretically cover herself in a defensive layer of ki/nen for the rest of her life to defend herself. However I don’t think nanika would “run out of energy” with this type of attack. There’s examples of nen abilities that are just permanently there for all intents and purposes like knuckles’ hakoware or kurapikas judgement chain. You need a special type of nen user to get rid of these abilities. Granted this is all a gray area and I’m completely speculating but the show does have examples of permanent and lingering nen even after death. If nen is “life aura” and a person dies, where does the energy for the posthumous nen come from? It implies there’s something else at play then the persons nen capacity.

I don’t know if I buy into the idea that because a character is super strong that makes them invincible. 18 is a human at the end of the day. Would nanika giving her a brain aneurysm really cost an astronomical amount of nen? How about cancer? Can someone even defend themselves from nanikas’ “attack” if it’s even based on nen? I mean goku was super saiyan and would’ve died to a heart attack if not for trunks bringing medicine from the future.

I understand what you’re saying, but wasn’t it stated that killua could ask anything from Nanika with no price? I could’ve sworn that was explicitly mentioned, but it’s been a long time since I saw the show.

The only 4 year old that went to the battlefield was itachi and that was because his dad is an idiot. No hokage ever sent 4 year olds to war.

This lady is starting to be real annoying. Idk if this is supposed to be comedy or something but she just comes across as unlikable. This constant criticism for not being normal is just unnecessary especially when she told him to find a hobby. If it were me, at this point I would basically stop telling her anything and just not consult her for stuff. If that’s the point then I guess kudos.

Why do people think this? Demon slayer is cookie cutter shounen. Tanjiro and Nezuko are not dying under any circumstances. Anything else is fair game and it’s always been that way.
